Friends forever

As originally a part of the “Friends Forever” collection, this piece stands for friendship. The piece draws on multiform influences, both simple and complex, based on small things in life that symbolise friendship – ropes, bows and ribbons.

In some ways, the collection “Friends Forever” also reflects more complex concepts of ethnic origins and the role and heritage of women warriors of the past who had a lasting effect on femininity.

The collection was designed in collaboration with fellow fashion designer and friend, Hrafnhildur Guðrúnardóttir.
