Nothing comes from nothing as the old saying goes, and it is certainly true that ideas only comes from some previous inspiration.
Ragnheiður Ágústsdóttir’s works also demonstrates connections to the ideas of others and even direct borrowings from them, or sometimes involve everyday items being used in a completely new context.
Wall hooks are objects that we know well from our everyday surroundings, but Ragnheiður design the cups so as to give such hooks fresh role, allowing them to serve as handles.
